At the time they only went up to 2.00. You being the BEST support guy/company software owner I have ever dealt with, you added these numbers into the latest Ensign version. Seriously, your support is the best I have ever seen!!! After 4 pm that day I downloaded that update. Now, let me show you what happened today with the 4.28 number and the 2.618 number. You wont believe this!! That 4.28 nailed the high of day today!!!!!! And the 2.618 on the V19000 chart showed the same resistance number (1363's on the ES). Coincidence? I also trade stocks and am an operator in two chat rooms. Both rooms combined have about 650 live traders in there EVERY day. A week does not go by without me praising how great Ensign is and how excellent the support staff is. You can get a free week's trial at www.ensignsoftware.net. The owner Howard is dedicated to making them the standard for others to follow. I have been trading the E-minis for about 15 years. I began with ~~~ and with a stroke of luck found Ensign and have been with them about 10 years. You would not believe how that program has evolved over that time. Howard just completed a major overhaul and the results are just unbelievable. You have the possibility with the DYO's to build any kind of indicator you can imagine. I have for many years done spread sheets daily and have been able to apply the same to DYO's and what a relief. Please give them a look I don't think you will be disappointed.' -D. I was not able to get the Ensign to read the IQ data no matter what I tried. We checked the IQ Diagnostics & the data was there, but I was stumped. I had him call Ensign support. I just spoke with him again to see how the IQ Feed was working & he is a very happy customer. Ensign support cleared the Ensign registry before installing the current version (sorry I never thought of that) and his system has worked great ever since. Tell everyone I said THANK YOU.' -S. I just completed a relatively small program (140 lines -- I'm used to ESPL programs of 1000 lines or more) to back test an off-the-shelf trading method by a seller who doubted that his method could be mechanically tested. My code duplicated his manual results, showing that they were correct -- that his method "works as advertised". The ability to perform such tests is invaluable. As I have mentioned to you in years past, ESPL is by far the most important tool for me within Ensign. Thank you again for creating ESPL and continuing to support it. I went ahead and built a DYO and will be using it when the Yen opens in Tokyo in another half hour. That certainly saves having to go through a lot of custom steps, not to mention when it is embedded the functionality/performance is better for several reasons. Also, thanks for the explanation that the Min. Size is a price filter. I totally get it as that is easy to comprehend, but trying to figure out before was never obvious to me. Now I can enjoy knowing how the trend lines are being drawn without worry. Or if they cannot be drawn the way I want them using the Auto Trend tool then I will understand "why" since Price dictates the line. Visually, it is easy to put the trend lines on, but having a tool that does it automatically like the Auto Trend tool is invaluable, because doing it manually is a waste of time when your tool does it instantly. So if the Auto Trend tool cannot draw a line where I want it, at least from now on I will not be concerned since I know price causes it to draw the lines where it does. Very Cool...' -M. Ensign has free data feed and there is a replay feature and Sim Broker which I use almost daily.... comparable feed from a data feed supplier would probably cost $100 per month... and there is no way I would want to do without the replay facility. I have been using their volume charts and those seem to suit the style which I am attempting to perfect. Also, I find that I can get a lot of help, really quickly, be it regarding trading or regarding technical assistance.' -D. Nothing compares to the analytic freedom and creativity that ESPL brings the table. It seems others simply don't expect their customers to generate questions and hypotheses that fall outside the narrow, and somewhat arbitrary boundaries of TA orthodoxy. Thank you for producing Ensign. ~~~ does not come equipped with a function that allows the analyst/trader to generate key price levels for every single stock reporting earnings after the close at the height of earnings season, in a fully automated manner, in less than fifteen minutes. But, given ESPL, your product does! Keep up the great work.' -B. As I remember, a simple request was made to get the date and timestamp on the charts in a class and within a day it was done. Well done, I might add. How this helps me is with the daily and weekly review of trades that my traders make. In the past there was always the dichotomy of trading vs.. documentation trading to improve it. I felt silly insisting on documentation of questionable or iffy trades when I knew that this would only distract them from their main job of trading. But, now with these easily produced PGN graphic images I can go through a day's worth of trades in detail with several traders in 15 minutes instead of another tedious process. Thank you Howard.
