Tools: Vertical Ruler

Q:  Alongside the great time and price tools you have I've started looking into absolute moves in price, so using a number count rather than %.  As an example I would typically be looking for moves of 34,55, 89 etc in the SP as potential support or resistance areas.

I don't seem to be able to do that at the moment using the tools on Ensign and had a query as to whether whether it is something that is currently possible and I've missed or whether it is something that it may be possible to add?

To try and explain it better to me it would be like the fib cycles time tool applied to price where the user can enter defined movements in the price as opposed to the time.   I know a few people that I think would find it to be very helpful so would not just be me!

A:  Use the Formations Draw Tool with the Vertical Ruler check box selected. Example shows horizontal lines spaced 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 5.0 points away from the base line.  You can enter your own value levels such as 34 or 0.34, etc, for your fixed spacing.
