Q: When changing the hours for a symbol on one timeframe they change on all timeframes for the same symbol (even in different workspaces). For example I would like a 24 hour session on a tick chart and a day session only on a 15min chart for the same symbol. How can this be accomplished?
A: The market hours record is indeed global for all charts. So the hours need to show both sessions. The Day Session Only check box on the chart property form is private to the chart. So this box would be checked for the day session only 15 min chart, and unchecked on the tick chart that you want to be 24 hours.
A: The S and L buttons to not control this. On the template panel there is a check box labeled All Charts. This needs to be unchecked so the template being applied will go to just the selected chart.
