DYO: Value Degrees for Pyrapoint #


Q:  The DYO study has a selection for "Global Value" named  "Value degrees for Pyrapoint #".  What is this used for ?

A:  The function will return the Pyrapoint Degrees for a supplied SLOPE.

For example, provide a SLOPE value as input.  The SLOPE of a moving average line segment might be  0.250

When compared to the diagonal lines of a Pyrapoint study (plotted with a 90 degree calculation), what would the Pyrapoint Degrees be in comparison (given the provided SLOPE).  The answer = 67.78 degrees (or, a steeper degree).

Example, using this Global Value will allow you to determine if a Moving Average line is higher or lower in PyraPoint degrees than the diagonal Pyrapoint lines.  The following DYO shows the example:
