Ensign Windows can be used with the following data-feed sources.  The following links can be used if you need to subscribe to a data-feed or need more information.

Notes:

  • Obtain the vendor's fee schedule from the vendor's web site.
  • TraderBytes is an excellent source for real-time Indexes to augment the brokerage feeds that have only Futures.   TraderBytes is also a low cost feed for Stocks, and Futures (plus exchange fees).   read more » TraderBytes
  • TransAct Futures, Infinity Futures, TradePortal Futures, AGN Futures, Apex Futures, Cannon Trading and Interactive Brokers are brokerage feeds requiring you have a trading account with them.   The advantage is the avoidance of real-time exchange fees.
  • Several vendor feeds can feed Ensign simultaneously.   Example:   IQFeed  +  TransAct  +  TraderBytes  +  FXCM  +  Zen-Fire.
  • The feed into Ninja Trader can be passed through to Ensign Windows and used simultaneously with any of the other vendor data feeds.
  • There is a free real-time Zen-Fire feed that can feed Ensign with data for ES, NQ, TF, YM, ZB and FDAX futures.   read more » Zen-Fire

  • Use the Ensign Internet vendor selection if you do not subscribe to a vendor's data-feed.  Ensign Internet is great for end-of-day users and traders who want to download Chart data and includes the refresh (download) feature from DTN Market Access.   Since Ensign Internet is not a data feed the charts to not have a live update.  But they can be refreshed to show bars through a delay requirement, such as 10 minutes ago for the ES e-mini.    read more » Data Downloader

  • Tick and intra-day chart data is current to the exchange's delay requirement.
  • The Daily bar for today for some exchanges may not be available until after the market closes.
  • Worldwide Stocks and Indices may be from various Internet sources instead of from DTN Market Access.
  • The FXCM refresh is from Ensign servers, and not from DTN Market Access, though it is shown in the above table.
