Q: Futures Options Chains: A symbol of ES *FO appears in the eSignal Data Manager symbol list (see below) if you request an Option Chain for ES #F. All the ES futures symbols then get passed along to the software and need to be processed by the software. You can see the entry in the Data Manager Symbol list below. Eventually the 500 symbol max got filled up and an error message appeared. But the Options screen filled in with tons of quotes.
They also have a feature called 'AutoList' which will automatically display all MONTHS for a Futures Symbol. Example: an Entry of ES *F is the wildcard entry for ALL active Futures for ES.
A: Adding ES *F and ES *FO to the Setup | Manager list work already and Ensign receives back the futures months and the lengthy list of futures options.

It does generate more than the 500 symbols our account permits. However, the *FO features work already in Ensign.
