DYO: Net difference between 2 symbols

Q: Could you please help me chart the Net change difference between the NQ and ES.. ie: if the ES is up 12 and the NQ is up 16 then I would get a +4 reading..

A: Example shows ES net minus NQ net. Change the order of the symbols in the example if you want NQ net minus ES net.

Feedback: Howard this really works great ... for me visually it would be better if I could use a green box when it the net difference is positive and a red box when the net difference is negative.

A: Add a Line D that tests for the result being Above Zero. The Message coloring has a selection for Line Logic and when that DYO line is True the True color is used for background, and when the Line Logic is False the False color is used for the background.

Q: Is it possible to create a custom symbol for the Net change difference between the NQ and ES?

A: Use custom symbol entries of NQ #F(NET) and ES #F(NET) or NQ M7(NET) etc.
