Tools: Snap draw line to Vertical or Horizontal

Q: How does one automatically draw a vertical line. The Draw Line Properties has an option for horizontal lines which I use a lot but I have trouble getting a perfect vertical line by drawing freehand. Is there a way to do this?

A: For Draw Line and Parallel Line, you can hold down the shift key when you make the finishing click elsewhere to finish the draw tool. This has had the effect to snap these lines to horizontal regardless of whether there was a check box for Horizontal checked. Also, the Shift key effect will snap the lines to either Vertical or to Horizontal, whichever is closer.

The snap to horizontal or vertical by holding down the shift key when you click elsewhere to finish a draw line is implemented for the regular draw line and for the parallel lines tools. It is not implemented for the auto repeat buttons. That is because there is no click elsewhere to finish the draw line for an auto repeat button.
