Alerts: Different sounds for different alerts
|
Q: Regarding alerts, can you set up customizable alerts, so different sounds can be used for different alerts? (Like NQ tick vol above 100 could be set up as one sound, ZB tick vol above 50 could be set as another sound).
A: Yes, on the Alert Object property form is a path for the WAV file to play and you can have different files for different alerts. Or you can have Speakonia running and it can read the Alert text message as the alert sound.
Q: Also, could your tick alerts diffentiate between up vol and down vol? i.e., allow different sounds for ticks that are higher than previous tick than for ticks that are lower than previous tick. Ticks that are the same as the previous tick would either keep same sound as most recent, or perhaps a different sound. (the most versatile setup would have a 3rd sound for same price ticks following a higher tick, and a 4th sound for same price ticks following a lower tick, but that isn't as important as differentiating higher and lower ticks) As it is I use a drip sound for tick vol over 99 for ZB, but it doesn't differentiate between bullish and bearish ticks.
A: Easiest way to do this is press CTRL-P keys and on the chart property form check the box for Beep on Each Tick. The pitch will go higher as the price moves higher.
